Louis Bowen, Financial Adviser at Hampton James Financial Associates Ltd in Worcester, has been awarded the prize for the most meritorious achievement in the Diploma for Regulated Financial Planning. This prize was awarded by the Birmingham Insurance Institute (BII), which is also known as the Birmingham Institute of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).
Louis was awarded the prize for achieving the highest Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning exam results in the region during the 2023/24 academic year – having achieved an average score of 86.3%. Louis was presented with his prize at the 2023/24 BII awards ceremony by the President of the Birmingham Insurance Institute, Kristian Vind APFS Chartered FCSI.
The RQF level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning meets the FCA requirements for retail investment advisers. It develops technical knowledge and financial planning capabilities across 6 core areas, enabling Louis to help clients with retirement planning, investment planning, protection planning, tax planning and estate planning.
