OX5 is the much loved recurrent fundraising event that takes its participants through the stunning landscapes of Blenheim Palace.
It is also the single largest annual fundraiser for Oxford Children’s Hospital, providing support to Children’s Services throughout Oxford University Hospitals, including intensive care facilities, emergency areas and the Horton General Children’s Ward.
This year, Sterling’s Witney Breakfast members are coming together to form a team of runners and supporters to raise funds for their member, Naomi Stewart Hale, Corporate Partnerships Manager at Oxford Hospitals Charity.
Naomi said, ‘The Sterling Witney group is a fantastic platform to make business connections and raise awareness of the work we do to support our local hospitals. We are thrilled to have a ‘Team Sterling’ at the OX5 this year, and we look forward to cheering them on from the sidelines!’
Witney Breakfast member, Hilary Nightingale who owns copywriting business Carbon Copy Social is also supporting the event by rounding up members of her local running club and LinkedIn connections as runners and cheerleaders along the course route. She is also organising specially printed t-shirts so the team can be spotted easily amongst the crowd of 1000+ runners.
Last year the OX5 event raised an impressive £100,000 for Oxford Hospitals Charity, and this year will be no exception with the support of Sterling Networks.
Good luck to the Witney Breakfast runners, we’ll be there to cheer you on! You can join Team Sterling by registering to run at Oxford Hospitals Charity OX5RUN and you can sponsor Hilary here.
