Worcester Rapids members were delighted to continue their support for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity (MAAC) recently, this time dressing for the occasion!
Red is MAAC’s signature colour hence their ‘Wear it Red’ campaign which encouraged people to wear red and highlight the important work undertaken by the local lifesaving charity. Other fundraising initiatives carried out by the group include a Christmas Jumper and Quiz morning and pro-bono advice to friends and family of group members in return for a donation.
Charley Burke, Worcestershire’s MAAC Fundraising Executive and Rapids member said: ‘The Rapids group show unwavering support for our service in many ways. It was wonderful to see them get involved so passionately in our Wear it Red initiative! Thank you to all of the group members who demonstrated their support by wearing our brand colour and making a donation on the day’
