Back in June, the team at Jukes Insurance Brokers volunteered a hand to Primrose Hospice to help out in their courtyard that needed a bit of TLC.
Taking advantage of the lovely weather, the Jukes team rose to the challenge which saw 2 groups, one morning and one afternoon, attend across the day, ensuring they were still available to serve their customers.
James Godsall, Managing Director at Jukes Insurance Brokers said:
“Huge thank you to Abigail Coulson and Sally Insley for helping to set this up, to Jo Wright for keeping us in line with cake and of course to the team at Jukes for throwing yourself into the day.”
“For any business, I can’t recommend highly enough taking some time out and volunteering. It’s a great opportunity to give back to the communities that support us, and to spend some time together away from the work environment, which after the experience of the past 15 months was very welcome.”
Abi Coulson, Corporate Fundraiser at Primrose Hospice, said:
“The team donated their time to spruce up the area which features our Memory Tree, which is a place that holds such significance with many of our families and loved ones who have been bereaved. It’s a place of peace and solace that allows them to take time out of the busy hustle and bustle of life and remember their loved one.”
“I wanted to say a big thank you to everyone at Jukes for volunteering and making such a big difference to a very special place at the hospice, we really could not do it without you.”
Jukes Insurance Brokers are proud supporters of Primrose Hospice. They are currently donating £10 to the Hospice for every new client referred to them by existing clients or Sterling members in 2021.
