Wow! has TR Health been busy! Although, to be fair, when are we not busy? In the month of March, we put on not only one, but TWO events open to the public? Why? Because we care, we care about you. TR Health is constantly looking for ways to show you we care, the same way you care.
On the 19th of March we hosted a webinar hosted by the impressive Dr Kirstyn Norman, the premise of the webinar was to find methods to manage your cholesterol and heart health – “managing without medication”
Dr Kirstyn Norman is a doctor turned health coach, her journey in healthcare started in 2010. Dr Kirstyn spent 5 years working for the NHS, during this time working in Swindon’s Great Western hospital this is where she experienced firsthand how much people’s lifestyles in their younger years has a knock-on effect. When Dr Kirstyn was looking for her new career path, she said she wanted to do something that can help people sooner. This is where Dr Kirstyn came into her current role – with her goal being bridging the gap between traditional health care and implementing sustainable health choices.
The webinar was a great success, additionally it was very informative learning different ways that can help people change their life and help them from an earlier point. Dr Kirstyn spoke about hearth health and gave some interesting tips on how to create healthy habits, for example: a simple swap! Still have your Friday curry but consider changing your curry to a tomato-based curry like a Balti! Dr Kirstyn showed us the idea of healthy compromises and bringing balance to all our lifestyles. Another fun one was the 2-minute rule that Dr Kirstyn spoke of, if you absolutely cannot be bothered to exercise, try it for 2 minutes and see how you go, as she said, the hardest part is starting – which is so undeniably true.
We wanted to thank Dr Kirstyn Norman for this fantastic webinar we all learnt so much from her and cannot wait to implement these habits into our daily lives.
The next event was just the following day which was Blueprint for Success held at Sixways stadium. What an event…
It was a room filled with industry experts such as SJL Insurance, Hampton James Finance Associates, Three Counties Payroll, MFG solicitors and TR Health – all brining in vital advice on the construction business to a room of enthusiastic listeners. Hearing the different perspectives from all our panellists to consider the different aspects of the construction industry such as: contracts, paye process or covering your team with insurances, it left the room in a whirlpool of knowledge.
We wanted to thank Neil Davis for hosting the event and a special thank you to Sterling for making the event what it was, it was truly an enjoyable morning of professionalism, learning and of course – baps. The event was a notable success with a great turn out, valuable conversations and lasting connections made!
