At this year’s hugely successful Sterling Networking Awards, the spotlight wasn’t only on business success — it was on generosity. Thanks to the funds raised during the ceremony, a Worcester based charity, Stevie Stones, who were awarded Charity of the year has been able to provide two grieving families with something truly priceless: a permanent memorial for their children. Stevie Stones, founded in memory of a little girl named Stevie, supports bereaved parents by funding headstones for children’s graves — a cost that can be unexpectedly overwhelming during an already devastating time.

The charity’s mission is simple but profound: no child’s resting place should go unmarked because a family cannot afford a headstone. The proceeds from the Sterling Networking Awards raffle has now been allocated to directly fund two headstones for two separate families in the Sterling Networks jurisdiction, one in Evesham and another in Gloucester. For these parents, the gift goes far beyond head stone and engraving. It offers a place to visit, to sit with siblings and, to remember and feel connected to the child they lost. For the family in Evesham, the headstone will mark the first moment they’ve been able to see their child’s name permanently honoured and would like to pass on their thanks to everyone who contributed.

The impact of the Sterling Networking Awards reaches far beyond the event itself. It will now live on in two peaceful places of remembrance for two local children who — symbols of love, community, and the power of the Sterling Network coming together to support the communities it thrives in when it matters most. Through this partnership, celebration has been transformed into direct impact, and two families now have a lasting tribute to the children they will always carry in their hearts. Stevie Stones would like to thank everyone involved in the fantastic evening and to Tracey Lowe at Lowes solicitors for selecting Stevie Stones against an array of local incredibly worthy causes.
