Sterling Networks Hosts Successful ‘Mix & Mingle’ Networking Event, Supporting Warriors Women Rugby Team

The ‘Mix & Mingle’ Networking event witnessed a remarkable gathering of esteemed rugby players and coaching staff. Notable attendees included Vicky Laflin, Lydia Thompson, Caty Phillips, Amelia Buckland, and Alina Gondwe, along with the coaching team consisting of Jo Yapp, Michael Hall, and Ashley Beck. The event was further elevated by the presence of Donna Kennedy, the most capped Scottish international women rugby player.
The Warriors Women Rugby Team’s journey is a testament to their determination and resilience, as they rose like a phoenix from the challenges faced by the Worcester Warriors. Currently ranked 6th in the 2022/2023 season, they have showcased exceptional tenacity, driven by the unwavering support of the rugby management team and local businesses. Jon Graham, the Managing Director of Warriors Women, passionately shared the team’s journey and long-term future plans at the event. He announced the launch of the Centurion Club, which invites 100 local businesses to extend their support to ensure the team’s continued success. The Warriors Women are also engaged in discussions to secure international partnerships that will contribute to the long-term sustainability of the club.
