Members of the Sterling Networking Bromsgrove branch are coming together to host a free educational seminar aimed at helping business owners and families protect their wealth, businesses and future generations.

The event, titled “Protect Your Wealth, Your Business and Your Family”, will take place on Thursday 23rd April, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, at the Bromsgrove Hotel & Spa, Birmingham Road, Bromsgrove, B61 0JB.

The seminar is the result of a collaboration between local professional advisers who regularly work together through Sterling Networking, combining expertise in accountancy, legal services and strategic planning to deliver clear, practical guidance in a jargon free format.

Addressing Common Risks Facing Business Owners and Families

Many business owners focus on growth and day to day operations, often overlooking long term planning around wills, inheritance tax, powers of attorney and asset protection. The seminar will explore how gaps in planning can leave businesses and family wealth exposed to unnecessary risk, including avoidable tax, care fee pressures and legal complications.

Attendees will gain insight into:

  • Protecting business assets and company value
  • Reducing exposure to inheritance tax
  • Safeguarding estates from creditor or bankruptcy claims
  • Managing future care fee risks
  • Keeping wealth within the family bloodline
  • The importance of having appropriate Lasting Powers of Attorney in place

Collaborative Advice, Not Sales Pitches

One of the key aims of the event is education rather than promotion. By working collaboratively, the Sterling members involved are providing attendees with a broader, joined up view of planning that reflects real life business and family situations.

The presenters said the collaboration reflects the values of the Sterling Networking group:

“This event is a great example of what Sterling Networking is about, professionals working together to genuinely help business owners make informed decisions. When advisers collaborate, clients benefit from clearer guidance and better outcomes.”

What Attendees Can Expect

The seminar will include:

  • A clear, informative 60-minute presentation
  • Practical examples relevant to business owners and families
  • Time for questions and informal discussion
  • Opportunities to arrange follow up conversations if required
  • Complimentary refreshments

Attendance is free, but places are limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis. Guests are welcome.
