Rowan Waller from Waller Estate Agents has recently completed the Blenheim 7km run.
“I have come from not being able to run 100 yards for 15 years (since I was 18) to being able to run a mile a after rehabbing following another injury that required physio in 2014. This year, I finally set myself the goal of getting back to proper fitness. I got to running two miles, two and a half… then parkrun eventually got me to three. I then signed up for the Blenheim 7k, which was last weekend, and completed that raising over £500 for Duchenne muscular dystrophy (Action Duchenne), in memory of my cousin Fraser. My daughters ran the kids 1 mile!
I’ve now got sights set on the 10k Oxford Town and Gown and – I hope – perhaps will have a go at the Oxford Half this time next year.”
