This month we spoke with Tom Farrington, founder of Networking Near Me, about his exciting new venture.
“Networking Near Me has been an idea a few years in the making” Tom explained.
“After attending and running our own networking events for over a decade, we noticed that it can be difficult to find the right event for you. That was where we realised that there was a gap in the market for an all in one networking directory!
Networking Near Me is an online events directory searchable by location and type of event. This way, networkers can find the right event for them – from a more formal breakfast meeting, to a golfing lunch, to a black tie dinner; we have you covered!
After a year of development and getting the name out on the networking scene, we are glad to announce that we have fully launched our site and we have also had recent success on social media building up a community of business owners who are having conversations about all things networking and business!
Having recently joined Sterling, I have been very impressed by the structure and regularity of the meetings but also the relaxed flow of them. The emphasis on 121s and relationship building really resonates with me as I believe this to be the core of successful networking.
