Guy Willcock is the Community Partnerships Manager for Central England and North Wales for a global charity called The Leprosy Mission, working to see an end to leprosy in our lifetime.
At The Leprosy Mission they are very passionate about helping children understand more about leprosy. As a result, they have recently launched some fantastic free new resources centred around the ‘Bela book’ to educate primary school children about the disease in creative and cross curricular ways.
Guy would love the opportunity for himself or one of his team to come into your school and hold a fun and interactive whole school assembly. Guy has an up-to-date enhanced DBS check and can provide proof of this if required.
There is no charge for the visit. All the mission ask in return, is that the school commit to holding a simple and easy to run fundraiser. The mission can provide everything the school need.
