After years of teaching French and German, Caroline Linnell, a familiar face at the Sterling Solihull Breakfast Group, found a new way to make a difference in her community—helping families save on their household bills.
Caroline has been with Utility Warehouse for several years, using her knack for explaining complex topics in an easy-to-understand way, just like she did in the classroom.
“I used to help students make sense of French and German, and now I’m helping people make sense of their bills. It doesn’t have to feel like learning a new language!” Caroline said.
Through her work with UW Caroline brings a friendly, no-jargon approach to services like energy, broadband, mobile, and insurance. Her focus has always been on helping others feel comfortable and confident about their choices, whether in a classroom or in a conversation about saving on bills.
Beyond the practical help she provides, Caroline values the connections and skills she’s gained through her involvement with the Solihull Breakfast Group. The support and camaraderie have not only helped her grow her business but have also deepened her ties to the local community.
