Crossing the finish line for Primrose Hospice

Bromsgrove-based business owners, Ben Truslove of John Truslove Chartered Surveyors & Valuers and James Godsall of Jukes Insurance Brokers have completed the London Marathon and raised a combined £6,258 for Primrose Hospice. 

The duo decided to run the 26-mile marathon to raise money for a charity close to home. 

Ben Truslove completed the marathon in an impressive 3:58:58 in his third marathon. James Godsall crossed the finish line with a time of 3:30:02 in his first marathon.

Ben Truslove, Joint Managing Director at John Truslove Chartered Surveyors & Valuers said:

“It was an amazing experience, running across Tower Bridge being one of many highlights and it was great to see thousands of people lining the streets and creating such a fantastic atmosphere, which really helps you get through the race.”

James Godsall, Managing Director at Jukes Insurance Brokers said:

“What an emotional day! From high fives with a couple of Lionesses and countless kids to amazing support and atmosphere all the way around, it was like nothing I have ever experienced.”

Ben and James said: “We are both proud to have made it across the finish line, but we are even more proud of the fact that we completed the marathon for such a great cause.”
