As the UK marks National Apprenticeship Week 2025, Hazelton Mountford is proud to spotlight the achievements of their talented apprentices and the role apprenticeships play in the future of the insurance industry.
This year’s theme, ‘Apprenticeships: Building the Future’, aligns with the Chartered Insurance firm’s commitment to nurturing talent and creating opportunities for growth within the sector. Hazelton Mountford recognises apprenticeships as a powerful way to gain professional qualifications, practical experience and invaluable industry knowledge.
Hazelton Mountford’s apprenticeship programme continues to foster talent, as demonstrated by the success stories of Andrew Jackson, Account Executive, Harry Atkinson, Account Handler, and Amaash Lone, Claims Handler.
Andrew completed his apprenticeship in October 2024 and passed his CII in November 2024. He says: “An apprenticeship has given me a great start to my career in insurance and I’m grateful for the opportunity provided. I’ve now secured a permanent role here at Hazelton Mountford because of the apprenticeship and recommend it as a good option to anyone looking for an education, to learn on the job and earn money at the same time.”
Harry shared his apprenticeship journey so far:
“I’ve really enjoyed my apprenticeship and am pleased to have already sat and passed my first CII exam. I’m due to sit my second exam soon and I’ve been told I’m on target to pass my apprenticeship around March/April, just in time for my 21st birthday!”
Amaash added:
“I’m due to take my first CII exam shortly and will hopefully have good news to share soon!”
These insights highlight the dedication and drive of Hazelton Mountford apprentices, who continue to excel in their professional development.
