Last month, our Three Counties Group Leader, Matt Jackson, was honoured to attend the official opening of Ledbury Two, a brand-new facility launched by local charity Megan Baker House (MBH) – an organisation proudly supported by our Sterling Three Counties Breakfast group.
Located in the heart of Ledbury, the new centre marks a significant expansion for MBH, enabling the charity to meet growing demand for its services and extend its reach across Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and beyond. The charity offers specialist conductive education programmes for children and adults living with a range of neurological movement disorders, including cerebral palsy, Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis, developmental coordination disorder, and the effects of stroke.
The official opening was carried out by His Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant for Herefordshire, Edward Harley, CBE, and welcomed funders, supporters and dignitaries. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was a celebration of MBH’s continued growth and positive impact in the region.
The new facility includes purpose-built spaces designed to foster learning, development, and wellbeing in a warm, supportive environment. It also features an office for client meetings and a beautiful garden area where families, partners and supporters can relax and connect.

Many members of our group have visited MBH and always look forward to Lee’s inspiring 10-minute presentations that highlight the incredible work the charity does. As well as its main Ledbury One and Two centres, MBH also runs a project called REACHOUT, delivering conductive education at ten other venues, including three schools.
Founded in 2002 originally to support Megan Baker and three other children, MBH now supports over 200 families across the region—and with capacity to welcome more service users, the charity is determined to ensure that those affected by neurological disorders know help is available.
