Across the UK over 4,000 families every year face the pain of child loss. These are parents who have endured the unimaginable — the loss of a son or daughter — and who now face the painful reality that they cannot afford a headstone or marker for their child’s resting place. For many, this means months or even years without a place to visit, to speak to, or to hold onto in moments when grief becomes too heavy to carry alone.

The Stevie Stones Business of Remembrance campaign exists so business’ seeking to demonstrate social value can have an immediate and lifelong impact.

The ask is simple but profound:

£800 can fund a full memorial for one grieving family

One direct contribution. One headstone provided. One family given the chance to begin healing.

Some business’ have provided a one off donation, others have set up a direct debit or organised fundraising activities. Some have even got their clients involved! Whatever the medium the outcome is the same – a family is directly supported.

We are delighted with the most recent contribution of our  Sterling Network colleagues:

  • Ed Dalley and the team at Financial Advice Centre provided a direct sponsorship for one of our local families in Droitwich who were reeling from a tragic loss.
  • Matt Ramage and the team at F&M communications have established a direct debit to allow Stevie Stones to help at least one family every year.

“ Having met Naomi and Barri and hearing their story, it really resonated with me as a father of two. To see how they pulled together to help other people was incredibly inspiring. It is an absolute honour and pleasure to support such a wonderful charity.”  Matt Ramage; Ops Director

Stevie Stones is able to draw a line direct from the donation to the family supported and show immediate impact and life changing results.

At Stevie Stones we serve a genuine transparent charitable process. Over 97p in every  £1 we receive goes direct to our families. This means we can tell you exactly which family your contribution helped.

This is not a corporate sponsorship in the traditional sense. It is not about logos, branding, or visibility — though recognition is offered where appropriate. Instead, it is about stepping into a space where compassion and responsibility meet. It is about acknowledging that remembrance is a community duty, and that businesses have the power to make a tangible, lasting difference.

In a world where companies are increasingly measured by their values, the Business of Remembrance offers a way to demonstrate humanity in its most authentic form.

For the families waiting, your support is not just financial. It is a lifeline. It is the moment the weight they carry becomes just a little lighter.

Stevie Stones currently has a waiting list of 114 families who are desperate to have their children remembered. To join the Business of Remembrance and sponsor a family, visit *steviestones.co.uk*
