The Buddy Bag Foundation (BBF) is proud to announce its special Awards Night, hosted at Ian Hazel Funeral Services. The event, generously sponsored by Karl Ward of Office Recycling Solutions, was a night of celebration, recognising the incredible contributions of our volunteers, supporters, and corporate partners.
Co-founders Karen Williams OBE and Chris Williams led the evening, celebrating those who have made a significant impact on the foundation’s mission. BBF, a volunteer-led charity, is dedicated to supporting children in emergency care through its “Bags of Love,” which provide essential items to children who have been displaced from home due to domestic violence.
Since its inception, the foundation has been driven entirely by volunteers, with **100% of donations** going directly into supplying these vital bags. This awards night shone a light on the selfless efforts of our team and acknowledged the contributions of our corporate supporters, who play a vital role in the foundation’s success through their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs.
Karen Williams OBE, co-founder of the foundation, commented:
