Solihull Health Check Clinic has announced the rebranding of its medical cannabis division to Airmed Clinic, marking a new phase in the organisation’s development and approach to patient care.
The rebrand follows an internal restructure designed to simplify access to medical cannabis treatment and improve the overall patient experience. As part of this change, Airmed Clinic is introducing a new model that removes ongoing clinic and consultation fees for patients.
Under the updated structure, there are no ongoing clinic or follow-up consultation fees. Patients are asked to pay a £20 fee to secure their initial consultation. This fee is fully returned after the appointment. It is refunded if treatment is not approved or deducted from the cost of the patient’s first prescription if treatment is approved. Ongoing costs are limited to prescribed medication and a standard delivery fee.
This revised approach is designed to reduce financial barriers and make treatment more accessible, particularly for patients requiring ongoing care.
Airmed Clinic continues to offer specialist consultations for patients who may be eligible for medical cannabis treatment, supporting both new patients and those transferring from other clinics. The service has been structured to ensure continuity of care, with a streamlined process from consultation through to dispensing.
Prescriptions issued through Airmed are fulfilled by MY Dispensary, the clinic’s dispensing pharmacy.
In addition, eligible patients may benefit from further cost support through the MY Dispensary Patient Access Scheme (MYPAS). The scheme provides discounts and additional support for patients whose prescriptions are dispensed through MY Dispensary, helping to make ongoing treatment more affordable.
The launch of Airmed Clinic reflects a broader commitment to improving accessibility, transparency and efficiency within the medical cannabis sector, at a time when continuity of care and patient confidence remain key priorities.
