“The Midlands Property Investment Awards 2023 was an evening to remember” says Ronaldo Hare of Premier Property.

As a finalist in the ‘Young Property Professional of the Year’ category, I had the privilege of being part of an event that celebrated excellence and innovation in the property industry. It was an exciting opportunity to connect with industry leaders and innovators in the West Midlands, from property finance to international commercial property management.

The anticipation was palpable as I entered the venue, surrounded by the cream of the property world. It was an evening filled with a sense of achievement and excitement about the future of our industry. This was not just an awards ceremony; it was a celebration of the hard work and dedication that professionals like us put into making the property market thrive.

The event was a fantastic opportunity to network with fellow professionals who are shaping the future of the Midlands property market. It’s not often that you get to rub shoulders with individuals who are making a difference in property finance, commercial property management, and all the other facets that make our industry so diverse and dynamic.

As the evening unfolded, it became clear that this event was a perfect blend of professionalism and camaraderie. There were smiles, handshakes, and shared stories about the ups and downs of the property business. It was refreshing to hear the experiences of those who had been in the industry for decades and those who, like me, were just starting their journey as young professionals.

The highlight of the evening, of course, was the award ceremony itself. The tension in the room was palpable as each category was announced. As the ‘Young Property Professional of the Year’ category drew nearer, I couldn’t help but feel a mix of excitement and nervousness. Being shortlisted as a finalist was an honour in itself, and I was thrilled to be a part of the momentous occasion.

As the presenter announced the winner, my heart raced, and then, the name was called. Although I wasn’t the one to step onto the stage to collect the award, I was genuinely happy for the deserving winner. The spirit of sportsmanship and encouragement among the finalists was a testament to the positive atmosphere of the evening.

While I may not have won the award, being a finalist at the Midlands Property Investment Awards 2023 was an experience that I will always treasure. It served as a reminder of the passion and dedication that I, along with many others in the industry, have for our work. It also reinforced my belief that the property industry is filled with incredible individuals, each making their unique mark.

As I left the event, I couldn’t help but feel a renewed sense of motivation. The Midlands Property Investment Awards had not only celebrated excellence but also connected me with inspiring individuals. The property industry’s future looks bright, and I am excited to be a part of it.
