When I started with Sterling and became a member of the Birmingham brunch group I wanted to have as many 1-2-1’s as possible, to see who I could help and of course grow my network.
Following these 1-2-1’s and speaking with members I was getting asked about LinkedIn, which – as some of you may know – a particular area of expertise of mine.
I have been sharing tips and tricks in the group and so have decided to put on a special event to help members and launch a new offer to the marketplace – thanks to the invaluable feedback and support I received from literally EVERYONE.
So I introduce to you: 360Brew De-Bunked: What’s Really Driving Authority on LinkedIn?
A new phrase has been circulating in LinkedIn circles: “360Brew.”
Some describe it as an algorithm shift. Others dismiss it as marketing language. The truth is less dramatic… and more strategic.
Over the past 6 months or so I’ve seen business owners with similar experience and similar posting consistency achieve very different results. One attracts steady inbound enquiries. The other posts regularly and hears very little back.
The difference isn’t effort. It’s alignment.
LinkedIn is no longer simply rewarding activity. It is clustering profiles, weighing behavioural signals and interpreting positioning. Your headline, your content and your engagement patterns all contribute to how the platform, and your audience categorises you.
When those elements are aligned, authority compounds. When they aren’t, credibility weakens quietly.
For business owners, this is not about chasing likes. It is about commercial perception. Your LinkedIn presence has become a public credibility layer. Prospective clients and partners often form an impression before a conversation ever happens.
If your profile reads one way but your content signals another, you create friction. You appear capable, but not definitive.
Present, but not positioned.
That is the real conversation behind 360Brew – It is not about gaming an algorithm. It is about structured clarity. When positioning, language and behaviour reinforce the same message, visibility becomes credibility and credibility drives opportunity.
The question is simple: does your LinkedIn presence reflect the level of business you want to attract?
If the answer is anything but a definitive “YES” come and join my LinkedIn live on Thursday 26th March at 13:00:
